Maturity of a person

I often started feeling that maturity is the feeling of responsibility towards myself and  the people around me.. Any thoughts...

A thought on Education

I often realize that our education has so many downfalls and short comings. Even if you are a well experienced student studying your computer lessons, it used to take a long to realize what you have studied and it’s implication on the real world. Especially on the collage days or learning period you are never going to get away with what really all these heck does and what is it used for. It is just meant for passing out our exams. Especially in the programming world this leads to great mistakes even without knowing that you have committed a mistake and they there are more efficient way to tackle this easily.
The data structure is one such thing. On those days, we never realised what is it really used for and it was just another subject for us to pass the exam. During the initial programming days.. I was fascinated to know that these concepts are really used internally even in the basic stuffs like arrays and list we more frequently use to hold the data in our programs and we would be there in a much more advanced state if we could know these things during the period of study. :(

A thought

This one of the wordings I came through while browsing a website. It seems this idea is true and a perfect match in many situations.

Data: What is readily available to you...From books, the Net - Google and Wikipedia

Information: What you get on analyzing data...

Knowledge: When you are able to abstract enough to move beyond fixed constraints and start creating a pattern from the information...

Wisdom: When you successfully start applying your knowledge...Where ever it is that you are working,
if you do not find yourself moving towards Wisdom, SWITCH!

Or find your way.

But mostly because some situational constraints, we are not able to reach the last stage

Google technology

I was always wondering how Google is maintaining the details of anything and everyting which appears in the whole mass of www and that too mostly it fetches the exact and relevant details of our search. Many of you might know this. Any I recently I found out that the major part that which plays behind the relevant fetches made by Google is an algorithm called PageRank written by Google founders Lawrence Page and Sergey Brin from their time as graduate students at Stanford University. You can find the algorithm details in this link http://pr.efactory.de/e-pagerank-algorithm.shtml . It is a wise and very simple logic which made Google this much popular and they might also be using tags to find out the exact matching results along with relevant advertisement which brings them money. Might be because of this only Google ads became more popular than the others. Here i am not trying describe the full search engine optimization techniques or search engine analytics, but the simple technique which makes google different

Google automatically finds out the web page containing enough and good information through the technique of web crawling. And there is no need for you to submit your page details to Google inorder appear in the their search engine. Any way the results are ordered completely based upon the page rank algorithm. You can read about the full and actual technology about Google in the link http://www.google.com/corporate/tech.html.

But Google is also providing a link in which you can submit your link. so that it will be manually included during next page crawling to rank it and there by add it to their indexes. The link is http://www.google.com/addurl

You can also check you page’s page rank awarded by Google using the link http://pr.blogflux.com/

A Story..

This is a place in middle-east part of kerala, A calm, tranquil and beautiful province. It’s famous for it’s serene beauty and culture. A perfect site for homely living. From there some how Mr.X happened to roost into a big city in southeast India and thus got into the IT industry. Mostly, for the fact that he’s got a specially structured brain and could utilize it to the extreme levels, he got into higher-level management in the company. But let’s say the truth that he was a bit weak in people management although his technical aspects were very promising.

Even though he tried to maintain a high level life-style, his face betrayed the truth of his being a common native man; brought up in the country hood. One day it so happened that one Mr. y has to attend an interview over there, persuaded by his friend. He decided that he might just try the interview, regardless of its result, for he had not the permission to leave his hometown at that time. He didn’t want to miss that one because this was the first one for him.

Mr. Y was new to the city, so he called one of his friends, who was dwelling there, to find out the exact place. When both entered into office premises his friend murmured, “Hey the guy who is sitting in the glass cabin presages a keralite. As if it’s written in bold letters on his fore head - “I am a native, common malayalee” ”.
